In their September 2010 issue, Boston Magazine named Bedford High School the 6th best public high school in Massachusetts!
The magazine ranked schools based on talks with school officials, research from school websites and data from the Massachusetts Department of Education. Factors examined included MCAS and SAT scores, per pupil spending, student-teacher ratios, graduation rate, percentage continuing education and extracurricular activities. Bedford High was also called out for its social studies program in the “Best Schools 2010: The Honor Roll.”
Bedford is also within the eligibility district for Shawsheen Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School located in neighboring Billerica.
