The magazine ranked schools based on talks with school officials, research from school websites and data from the Massachusetts Department of Education. Factors examined included MCAS and SAT scores, per pupil spending, student-teacher ratios, graduation rate, percentage continuing education and extracurricular activities.
Concord is also within the eligibility district for Minuteman Career and Technical High School (located in Lexington.)
Private schools in Concord include Concord Academy, Middlesex School, Fenn School and Nashoba Brooks.
